About The Role
n
Reporting to the F&B; Manager and Outlet Managers, you will play a key role in the daily operation of Grand Bar and banqueting operations.
n
As an F&B; Team Leader, you will assist in leading and motivating the team to deliver exceptional service while ensuring operational standards, compliance requirements, and guest expectations are consistently met.
n
You will be a hands-on leader who leads by example, supports team development, and creates a positive and engaging atmosphere for both guests and employees.
n
Working closely with the Kitchen, Events, Front Office, and wider F&B; teams, you will help ensure seamless service delivery while maintaining high standards of presentation, service, and operational efficiency.
n

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

Assist in leading, coaching, and developing F&B; team members.
n
Support the onboarding and training of new employees.
n
Lead shifts and provide direction to team members during service.
n
Foster a positive, professional, and guest-focused team culture.
n
Assist with employee performance, coaching, and development.
n
n
Operations Management
n
n
Support the day-to-day operation of Grand Bar and other F&B; outlets.
n
Deliver exceptional food and beverage service standards.
n
Assist with opening and closing procedures.
n
Ensure venue presentation, cleanliness, and atmosphere meet Stamford standards.
n
Respond to guest enquiries, requests, and feedback in a professional manner.
n
Assist in coordinating smooth service during busy periods, functions, and events.
n
Support the team to maintain productive and organised service operations.
n

Beverage Operations
n
n
Prepare and serve beverages, cocktails, wine, beer, and premium spirits to a high standard.
n
Maintain strong product knowledge and provide recommendations to guests.
n
Support stock control, ordering, stocktakes, and inventory management.
n
Monitor beverage quality and presentation standards.
n
Assist with beverage promotions and revenue-generating initiatives.

Events & Banquets
n
n
Assist with the delivery of conferences, weddings, functions, and other events.
n
Support the team in setting up and preparing function spaces to required standards.
n
Coordinate with the Events, Kitchen and F&B; teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
n
Lead the team during busy functions and events as required.
n

Compliance & Safety
n

Ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements.
n
Maintain compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety standards.
n
Follow cash handling and stock control procedures.
n
Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
n

Guest Experience

Create a welcoming and engaging environment for guests.

About You
n
You are a passionate hospitality professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.
n
You Will Bring
n
n
Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, Senior Bartender, or similar hospitality leadership role.
n
Strong food and beverage experience, with experience in banquets and bar operations highly regarded.
n
Bar experience and knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and premium spirits will be highly regarded.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
A hands-on leadership style and positive attitude.
n
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
n
The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
n
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
n
Knowledge of liquor licensing requirements and hospitality compliance standards.
n
Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
n
