Security Platform Engineer – Google SecOps
Sydney, NSW | Permanent | Hybrid
We are looking for an experienced Security Platform Engineer with hands‐on Google SecOps / Chronicle experience to support and enhance a security operations setting.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Google SecOps SIEM/SOAR.
Manage and troubleshoot security log and telemetry ingestion.
Support parsing, enrichment and routing of security data.
Monitor platform health, performance and data quality.
Assist with platform changes, upgrades and deployments.
Work closely with SOC, Security Engineering, Cloud and Infrastructure teams.
Skills & Experience
Hands‐on experience with Google SecOps / Chronicle.
Strong understanding of SIEM, log ingestion and security telemetry.
Experience troubleshooting data and platform issues.
Exposure to cloud environments such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with technologies such as Python, Terraform, CI/CD or OpenTelemetry would be advantageous.
