Predictable 8-Hour Roster:Consistent schedules and great balance on an alternating 2-week rotation:
Week A (Day Shift):6:00am - 2:00pm
Week B (Afternoon Shift):2:00pm - 10:00pm
Technical Growth:Expand your trade skills working hands-on with PLCs, SCADA, databases and modern plant automation systems.
Clean & Safe Environment:Work alongside a supportive & cooperative engineering team
Duties:
Breakdown & Diagnostics:Rapidly troubleshoot and repair electrical breakdowns on active manufacturing machinery, motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics to minimise plant downtime.
Automation & Controls:Fault-find and interact with PLC systems, SCADA
Preventive Maintenance:Conduct monthly safety inspections, lead tagging, system calibrations, and routine preventive maintenance.
Cross-Trade Support:Work closely with Mechanical Fitters to assist in repair, rebuilds and equipment recommissioning.
Continuous Improvement:Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on continuous improvement projects, plant automation upgrades and safety risk assessments.
Skills & Experience:
Licensing:Current Unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence (Essential).
Industrial Experience:Proven background in anindustrial,



manufacturing or heavy plant environment
Technical Capability:Demonstrated ability to read complex electrical schematics and troubleshoot PLCs, motor control systems, and automated plant machinery.
