RolePurpose
n
The DataGovernance Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing,
andoperationalizing
enterprise-wide Data Governance frameworks,
policies,processes,
and governance operating models. The role will work closely withbusiness stakeholders, data owners, data stewards, architects, and technologyteams to establish trusted, secure, compliant, and high-quality data
managementpractices
leveraging Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC).

Theconsultant will drive governance initiatives across metadata
management,business
glossary, data lineage, data quality, data
classification,stewardship,
and regulatory compliance while enabling business value throughimproved data transparency and accountability.

KeyResponsibilities
n
DataGovernance Strategy & Framework
n
n
Design and implement enterprise Data
Governanceframeworks,
standards, policies, and procedures.
n
Define governance operating models,



decision rights,governance forums, and escalation paths.
n
Establish governance roles including Data Owners, DataStewards, Custodians, and Governance Councils.
n
Develop governance roadmaps aligned withorganizational data strategy and compliance requirements
n
n
InformaticaCDGC Implementation
n
n
Lead implementation and configuration of InformaticaCloud Data Governance & Catalog.
n
Configure business glossaries, metadata
repositories,classifications,
and governance workflows.
n
Implement automated metadata harvesting and
lineagecapabilities.
n
Enable integration with enterprise data platformsincluding Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL-basedsystems
n
n
Metadata & Business Glossary Management
n
n
Develop business glossaries and taxonomy models.
n
Define ownership, stewardship, and approval workflows.
n
Improve data discoverability and
businessunderstanding
of critical data assets.
n
n
DataQuality & Stewardship
n
n
Define critical data elements and quality rules.
n
Collaborate with business teams to establish dataquality KPIs and monitoring processes.
n
Support issue remediation and governance workflows.

Drive Data Stewardship adoption across business units
n
Capture and document end-to-end data lineage.
n
Implement governance processes for data classificationand sensitive data management.
n
Support compliance requirements, audit requests, andregulatory reporting initiatives.
