The Role:
n
The Senior Operations Assistant is an integral part of our head office team and will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of the business. This position is the right-hand to the National Operations Manager and involves a diverse range of responsibilities that change and evolve through the agricultural seasons. The Senior Operations Assistant will work collaboratively with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to ensure efficient distribution of inventory across all business units. This role would best suit a motivated and engaged person who is looking for long term career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
n
1. Inventory Management:
n
n
Manage chemical inventory for business units across 5 states - including purchase orders, scheduling deliveries, weekly stocktakes and monthly reconciliations
n
Support Team Leaders of each business unit with correct inventory volume and location
n
Procure parts as required and manage stock levels for
workshop/maintenance
business units
n
Data entry into seasonal spreadsheets to ensure efficient information flow
n

2. Scheduling Assistance
n
n
Assist National Operations Manager with scheduling tasks as required
n
Process daily job sheets
n
Other admin tasks as required
n
n
Qualifications & Experience:
n
n
Proven experience in a similar role, with demonstrated familiarity with logistical scheduling
n
Intermediate to Advanced experience in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
n
Proficiency in account software (Xero) desirable though not essential
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
n
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage, inform, educate and support suppliers, customers, staff and managers alike
n
Broad and flexible interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and geographically dispersed workplace
n
Familiarity with the agricultural industry or related sectors is desirable but not essential
n

Candidate Requisites:

Currently living in Western Australia with a pre-existing right to work
n
Availability to work exclusively on-site
