Job Description
n
This is a part-time role of approximately 38 to 40 hours per fortnight, with potential for additional hours as the practice grows.
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Providing chairside assistance during dental procedures
n
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring instruments and equipment are ready
n
Completing sterilisation and infection control procedures
n
Maintaining equipment and keeping clinical areas clean and organised
n
Supporting clinicians to keep appointments running smoothly
n
Helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit
n
Providing post-treatment care instructions when required
n
Assisting with general practice and administrative tasks
n
n
Qualifications
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant; Certificate III in Dental Assisting or above is desirable
n




Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and infection control
n
Experience using dental software and Microsoft Office
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
n
The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment
n
A genuine patient-focused approach
n
