WHO YOU ARE
n
This Darwin-based General Labourer role provides hands-on support across DCOH's construction activities, assisting with site operations, material handling, housekeeping and labouring duties.
n

Current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
Previous construction, labouring or site-based experience is advantageous
n
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Reliable, punctual and hardworking approach to work
n
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
n
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
n




Good awareness of safe manual handling practices
n
Physical fitness and ability to undertake manual labouring activities
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
n

WHAT YOU'LL DO
n
n
Assist with general labouring duties across active construction sites
n
Support trades and supervisors with day-to-day construction activities
n
Load, unload and move materials, tools and equipment as required
n
Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas
n
Assist with site set-up, housekeeping and general maintenance tasks
n
Follow instructions to support efficient project delivery
n
Attend site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings
n
Comply with all site safety requirements, procedures and policies
n
Report hazards, incidents and unsafe conditions promptly
n
Assist with receiving, handling and storing site materials and deliveries
n
Work collaboratively with trades, supervisors and site personnel
n
Raise site concerns or issues with supervisors when required
n
Follow protected work practices and remain alert to potential site risks
n
Contribute positively to team culture and site productivity
n
Support the successful delivery of construction works through reliable day-to-day assistance
n
