This is a 3 year appointment. A right of return will be negotiated for an internal appointment.

The Literacy Coach, as a member of the Learning Cooperative Team, plays a vital role in supporting the success of all teachers and students in secondary schools.
n
The primary leadership activities for this position focus on the implementation of a school-wide high-impact assessment and instruction priority that integrates literacy across the curriculum.
n
Literacy Coaches support staff in the delivery of assessment-based instruction that is intentionally differentiated to meet the strengths, needs and interests of each student across all curriculum areas with a focus on Stage 4.
