At Tara Montessori Midland, we are seeking two highly motivated and qualified Child Care workers to join our dedicated team.
As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing andstimulating learning environment for our young students.
This full-time position is located in Midland, WA ****.
Your New Role Implementing the our philosophy and curriculum to foster the holistic development of children Preparing and maintaining a prepared setting that supports children's natural curiosity and love of learning Observing children's progress and developing individualised learning plans to meet their unique needs Collaborating with parents and caregivers to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's education and development Participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your teaching skills Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the childcare industry Your new role Provide high-quality education and care to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Prepare material and equipment to support children's learning and development.
Ensure you and your team of child educators develop positive and respectfulrelationships with the children in your care.
Lead the team in supporting and supervising daily routines of the children.
Ensure the inclusion of all children in the classroom, whilst leading the team toencourage children to develop cooperative behaviour.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and policies.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
Communicate with families and other stakeholders.
What we're looking for Diploma-level or above Early Childhood qualification (or an ACECQA approved equivalent.
Strong leadership skills and knowledge within the Childcare industry.
Strong understanding of the Montessori Philosophy Relevant working with children checks, police checks, child protection training, First Aid andCPR including anaphylaxis and asthma Previous experience with administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent andcommunity liaison, staff professional development and training.
Experience managing a budget for and Early Years Education Centre.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team Passion for supporting the holistic development of young children.
