Risk Management Consultant - Brisbane The Company The company is a specialist consulting firm helping organisations in high hazard industries improve risk management, operational performance and organisational reliability.
Their work combines systems thinking, technical expertise and practical solutions to help clients better understand and manage complex operational risks.
The Role You'll work closely with clients and their technical teams to strengthen risk management systems, optimise operational performance and develop practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities Assess the effectiveness of risk management systems.
Facilitate risk and improvement workshops.
Engage with clients and technical experts.
Develop practical risk tools, including checklists, incident reporting systems and Power BI dashboards.
Review how risk controls and tools perform in practice.
Analyse and present findings to clients.
About you You will have:
A bachelor's degree or higher.
5+ years' experience in a high-hazard industry, such as mining, chemical processing or heavy industry A systems thinking approach to risk and organisational effectiveness.
Knowledge of Bowtie assessments Robust practical and operational experience.
The ability to navigate complex problems and uncertainty.
A focus on outcomes rather than simply following processes.
Willingness to travel regularly to client sites.
A current Australian Driver's Licence.
