Perth

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you'll be the critical link between planning and on-site execution: the person who makes sure the crew, the plant and the program all line up.
This is a site-based role with travel required.
Work sites may be remote, and time spent at any one site depends on project requirements.
The role is outdoors, exposed to the weather, and physically demanding, you'll be on site with the crew, not behind a desk.
The Work This is a genuinely technical foundations business, delivered using excavators fitted with purpose-built piling attachments rather than traditional piling rigs.
It's a different discipline to rig-based work, and the right person will already know why that matters.
Sheet piling Screw piling Bored piers Associated civil construction and foundation works The site plant is excavator-based with specialised attachments, so an understanding of set-up, tolerances, ground conditions and productivity under that method is a real advantage.
What You'll Be Doing Supervising day-to-day piling and foundation works, including critical activities such as concrete pours, inspections and quality checks Planning and coordinating works with the Construction Manager and Project Managers to deliver on time, within scope and to specification Promoting and enforcing WHS and environmental standards — site inspections, hazard identification and close-out of corrective actions Directing and supporting site crews, subcontractors and suppliers, and keeping a cooperative, productive team culture Organising mobilisation and demobilisation of plant, attachments and materials, and establishing site boundaries,

signage and access controls Monitoring compliance with the Quality Management System, Worksite Management Plans and relevant codes and standards Maintaining accurate site records — daily progress reports, attendance, stakeholder communications and incident reporting Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the public to keep relationships positive and issues resolved quickly Monitoring resource usage and contributing to cost control through efficient deployment of labour, plant and materials What You'll Bring Practical, hands-on experience in foundations, piling and civil construction Strong technical understanding of piling methodology and construction technique Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings Construction Induction Training (White Card) Senior First Aid Solid working knowledge of WHS, environmental and regulatory standards Proven leadership skills — you can influence, motivate, supervise and develop a crew Strong organisational skills across multiple tasks, schedules and resources The ability to perform under pressure and still hit the program Highly Regarded Experience supervising excavator-mounted piling attachments Excavator Operator Training Vehicle Loading Crane License Dogging (High Risk Work License) Working at Heights accredited training Hit "Apply Now" with an up-to-date resume outlining your foundations and piling experience of contact Kerri at ****** for a confidential discussion.
