About the Opportunity Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is currently seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses for multiple permanent opportunities across the Greater Brisbane area.
These roles offer the opportunity to join established private hospital critical care teams, caring for a diverse range of medical, surgical and cardiac patients within supportive and clinically focused environments.
You will work alongside experienced critical care nurses, medical specialists and multidisciplinary teams, with opportunities to further develop your clinical skills and progress your career within the private hospital sector.
Skills and Experience To be successful in these opportunities, you will ideally have: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Recent experience working within an Intensive Care or Critical Care environment, ideally with a minimum of two years' experience.
Strong clinical assessment, prioritisation and critical thinking skills, with the ability to recognise and respond effectively to patient deterioration.
Experience caring for complex medical, surgical and/or cardiac patients in a high-acuity setting.
Experience with mechanically ventilated patients and advanced patient monitoring, including invasive and haemodynamic monitoring.
Postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care, Intensive Care or a related specialty will be highly regarded.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
A strong commitment to patient safety, clinical governance and evidence-based nursing practice.
The ability to remain calm, organised and clinically effective in a fast-paced environment.
A genuine commitment to delivering compassionate, patient and family-centred care.
Previous experience within a private hospital environment will be advantageous.
