Safety Emergency Services Advisor FIFO WA | 8/6 Roster | Gold Mining / Construction Globe 24-7 is partnering with a growing resources organisation to appoint a Safety Emergency Services Advisor to support a significant construction project within its Western Australian operations.
This is a site-based position offering a genuine blend of safety and emergency response, with approximately 70% of the role focused on safety and 30% on emergency response.
We are looking for someone who brings strong emergency response capability but is equally comfortable working across day-to-day site safety.
You may currently be working as an ESO, MESO, Safety Advisor or Safety Emergency Services Advisor and looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience.
The Role Working closely with site and project leadership, you will provide practical, frontline safety support while maintaining a solid emergency response capability across the project.
Key responsibilities will include: Providing practical safety advice and coaching to supervisors, employees and contractors Supporting compliance with WHS legislation, site standards and project safety requirements Conducting workplace inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations Participating in pre-starts, toolbox meetings, safety meetings and risk reviews Supporting contractor safety and workforce engagement Promoting proactive hazard identification and risk management Supporting emergency preparedness and maintaining site response capability Responding to medical emergencies and site emergency events Facilitating emergency response exercises,



drills and simulations Supporting the review and testing of emergency response plans and procedures Assisting with training and competency requirements across the workforce About You We are particularly interested in candidates who can bring a combination of safety, emergency response and training capability.
Ideally, you will have: Certificate IV in Work Health Safety or equivalent Certificate III in Emergency Response Rescue / Mines Rescue Relevant emergency healthcare qualification Certificate IV in Training Assessment Current C Class Driver's Licence Minimum 3 years' experience across mines rescue, emergency response and/or healthcare Experience within mining, construction, heavy industrial or resources environments Exposure to workplace inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations and safety systems Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with contractors and operational teams The position offers: 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth Competitive salary package A role combining Safety and Emergency Response rather than being solely ESO focused Opportunity to broaden your safety experience and continue developing within the resources sector Ongoing career opportunity beyond the immediate construction phase If you have a strong ESO/MESO or emergency response background and are looking to build further into safety, or you're an experienced Safety Advisor with strong emergency response credentials, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
