You will join a collaborative specialist team providing high-quality anaesthetic care across a diverse surgical program while contributing to the development of sustainable specialist services in regional Victoria.
The Opportunity The department provides anaesthesia across a broad perioperative caseload, including: General surgery Orthopaedics Obstetrics and gynaecology Emergency surgery Procedural sedation Perioperative medicine Acute pain management The role provides the opportunity to develop your professional interests while maintaining a broad general anaesthetic practice.
You will work closely with surgeons, physicians, nursing and allied health teams to support safe perioperative pathways, acute pain management and ongoing surgical service growth across the region.

About You We are seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist who is committed to clinical excellence and interested in contributing to the continued development of regional specialist services.
You will have: FANZCA , or be nearing completion of Fellowship Eligibility for Specialist Registration with AHPRA Broad clinical experience across general and emergency anaesthesia An interest in developing a subspecialty practice in Pain Medicine or Perioperative Anaesthesia Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills An interest in teaching, mentoring and service development International Specialists Internationally trained specialists are encouraged to enquire.
