Consultant Psychiatrist | Hervey Bay Maryborough | Total remuneration package up to AUD $564,548 p.a. We are currently hiring on behalf of a well-established Queensland public Hospital and Health Service to recruit Consultant Psychiatrists across two regional hospitals in the Wide Bay region, with additional positions potentially available in the wider Wide Bay–Burnett area.
About the service Our client is a Queensland Health–funded Hospital and Health Service delivering acute and community mental health care to a growing regional catchment.
Positions sit within an established Mental Health and Specialised Services division operating across two regional public hospitals — a principal regional referral facility and a well-connected smaller regional hospital — supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team spanning inpatient, outpatient, community and hospital-in-the-home programs.
Your role Deliver expert psychiatric care to patients across inpatient, outpatient and hospital-in-the-home services Provide qualified leadership within a well-resourced multidisciplinary mental health team Contribute to the training, education and supervision of junior medical staff and allied health colleagues Work across a genuine breadth of clinical presentations in a supportive regional environment Positions available at Senior Staff Specialist, Staff Specialist, or Senior Medical Officer level, dependent on experience and qualifications What's on offer Total remuneration package up to AUD $564,548 p.a.
