We are seeking an experienced HR Strategic Business Partner to join our People Experience Team on a contract through to 30 June ****, with the potential for extension as the team continues to evolve.

This is a diverse and rewarding role for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys balancing project work, operational leadership and people partnering.
You'll contribute to strategic people projects, take ownership of key annual people processes, provide coaching and guidance to leaders, mentor team members, and step in to support HR Business Partner portfolios as required.
Working across a broad range of people priorities, you'll partner with leaders to deliver practical people solutions, strengthen workforce capability, support organisational change and drive positive employee experiences.
You'll share your expertise across the People Experience team, helping to build capability, encourage best practice and support the development of others.
Combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, you'll have the opportunity to influence organisation-wide initiatives while remaining connected to day to day people challenges.

empowered and connected to the meaningful difference we make in the lives of the communities we serve.
What you'll do • Provide expert coaching and advice on employee relations, performance management, leadership capability and workforce challenges.
• Lead and contribute to strategic people initiatives, organisational change programs and transformation projects.
• Lead the delivery of key annual people processes • Support workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and capability development activities.
• Collaborate with specialist teams across Safety, Talent and Learning to deliver integrated people solutions.
• Provide support across multiple business areas and HR Business Partner portfolios, delivering practical people solutions and continuity of service where required.
• Act as a trusted mentor within the People Experience team, providing coaching, guidance and sharing best practice across people initiatives and complex matters.
What you'll bring • Demonstrated experience in a HR Business Partner, or a similar people partnering role.
• A strong generalist HR background with experience across employee relations, change management and organisational initiatives.
• The ability to build credibility quickly and establish trusted relationships with leaders at all levels.
• A proactive, self directed approach and confidence working in a fast paced environment where priorities can shift.
• Strong coaching, mentoring and stakeholder management skills.




• Experience leading projects, driving continuous improvement and delivering outcomes through influence.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to jump in and support across a broad range of people initiatives.
• Exposure to policy and procedure development would be highly regarded.
Qualifications Checks • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Management or a related discipline • Undergo a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
