Principal Technical Specialist - Firewall Security Talenza is seeking an experienced Principal Technical Specialist to join a big Cyber Security Program on a contract basis.
About the Role Acting as technical lead on a major firewall replacement and upgrade program, you will lead the deployment, configuration and optimisation of Check Point firewalls (primary platform), with expert support across Palo Alto, F5 (LTM/GTM/WAF) and Cisco routing/switching integration.
Key Responsibilities Integrate firewall solutions with Cisco routing and switching for high availability Manage firewall rule base optimisation via AlgoSec (NSPM) Monitor performance/health using SolarWinds Deliver solution designs, ICT change plans, implementation and test documentation Advise on emerging requirements and firewall/network security strategy Liaise with vendors,
