An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a agile finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of a broad transactional portfolio and play a key part in keeping the ledgers accurate and running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include: Managing accounts payable, including overhead invoices, staff expenses and credit card reconciliations Processing fortnightly payment and payroll runs Handling accounts receivable, including customer billing, payment allocation and intercompany recharges Issuing customer statements, following up overdue accounts and preparing the weekly aged debtor report Completing daily bank reconciliations,



month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations Maintaining the fixed asset register and assisting with P L analysis Processing intercompany transactions and reviewing supplier reconciliations Providing general finance and office support, along with ad hoc duties as required To be considered for this role you will have 3–4 years' experience in a similar sized organisation, be degree qualified, and either studying or with genuine intentions of studying towards your CPA or CA.
You'll bring a solid understanding of transactional finance, intermediate Excel skills, and a sharp eye for detail.
Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, you're a natural team player who communicates well, prioritises your own workload and takes real pride in accuracy.
