As Assistant Financial Accountant, you will play a key role within the Finance team, supporting financial statement preparation, statutory reporting and the ongoing application of contemporary accounting standards across the organisation.
The role offers broad exposure across financial accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal processing, data mapping, systems integration and reporting, while also contributing to process improvement initiatives and finance projects.

Key Responsibilities:



Perform balance sheet and other financial reconciliations in line with approved schedules Process journals and assist with month-end accounting activities Support financial statement preparation and statutory reporting requirements Investigate variances and assist with problem-solving activities Assist with financial data mapping and integration between multiple software systems Support compliance reporting, auditing, and financial administration activities Contribute to process improvement initiatives across the finance function Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial support About You: To be successful in this role, you will possess: Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline Previous accounting experience within a large and complex organisation Strong reconciliation skills within a high-volume transactional environment Experience working with multiple cost centres and financial data sets Exposure to ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Strong written and verbal communication skills The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with a high level Who are we, and what's next?
