The statewide expansion includes the establishment of a Centre of Excellence and 12 new multidisciplinary consultation-liaison teams .
These services will provide specialist assessment, treatment advice and support to improve mental health outcomes for people with intellectual disability.
As the program expands, there is increasing demand for psychiatrists with a principal area of expertise in intellectual and developmental disability psychiatry .

About the Roles These specialist positions provide expert psychiatric assessment and management for people with intellectual and/or neurodevelopmental disabilities , including individuals with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours.




Working alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams, you will provide specialist psychiatric care while supporting individuals, families and carers.
