This is an opportunity to build your career within a large and supportive anaesthetic department, delivering more than 16,000 procedures annually across 14 operating theatres , with exposure to an exceptional breadth of complex elective and emergency anaesthesia.

THE OPPORTUNITY The department provides anaesthetic services across a comprehensive range of tertiary specialties, including: Cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery Neurosurgery and neuroradiology Paediatric anaesthesia Tertiary obstetrics Trauma and emergency surgery Complex general surgery ENT, urology and plastic surgery Acute Pain Service Perioperative medicine In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will have opportunities to contribute to: Registrar supervision and training Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching Clinical governance and quality improvement Research and academic activity Service development Multidisciplinary collaboration The breadth of practice makes this an excellent prospect for an Anaesthetist seeking complex tertiary exposure while working within a supportive and collegial department .
