The Opportunity
The Child Care Services Skilled contributes to the management of the childcare centre through supervision and coordination resulting in high quality care for children.
What We're Looking For
Relevant Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification recognised by licensing authorities, with current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care and First Aid certification.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, cultural groups and other clients in both formal and informal settings.
Demonstrated experience developing care and educational programs, coordinating day-to-day children's services, supervising and motivating staff, delegating effectively and supporting purposeful change in consultation with the Coordinator.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
