What's the role about
As the Head of Financial Strategy and Portfolio, you will lead and drive the organisation to deliver best value to its growing community through an integrated approach to budgeting, financial strategies and reporting.
Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you will oversee the Financial Strategy and Portfolio, lead a high-performing team, and provide expert advice to the Executive Leadership Team, Council, and key stakeholders.
What you might do
Lead the development and implementation of long-term financial strategies and plans.
Lead and oversee the development, coordination and delivery of the annual budget.
Provide insightful financial analysis and reports to inform resource allocation decisions by the Executive Leadership Team, Council and Committees.
Lead a team of dedicated and professional team.
Who we are looking for
A pro-active, solutions-focused leader with a proven track record of driving high performance.
Proven expertise in financial management,
organisational performance and long-term financial sustainability.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage, influence, and deliver outcomes.
In-depth system knowledge and expertise in leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
