Job Description
About the Role
The Student Supervision Coordinator Assistant supports the Coordinator in the day-to-day operation of the School's student supervision program.
The role is responsible for the effective operation of morning supervision sessions, including the rostering of supervisors, and provides support to afternoon sessions as required. The successful applicant will also assist with student attendance and administration, provide direction to casual supervisors and liaise professionally with parents.
The Assistant will also assume responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the program when the Coordinator is absent.
Student Supervision sessions times are Monday to Friday 6:45 am to 8:00 am and 2:45 pm to 6-00 pm.
We are seeking an organised, reliable and proactive individual who:
Has experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school or similar environment
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Can establish positive relationships with students while maintaining professional boundaries
Is confident working independently and exercising sound judgement
Can provide clear direction to supervisors when required
Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Holds, or is willing to obtain and maintain, a current First Aid certificate
Demonstrates skilled presentation and conduct that reflects the values of Brisbane Girls Grammar School
