ABOUT THE ROLE:You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our members and guests enjoy outstanding bar, dining and event experiences. You will be part of a dedicated team and uphold the highest standards of event delivery, service and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service
n
n
Greet guests in a warm, welcoming manner.
n
Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service throughout the guest experience.
n
Respond promptly to guest requests.
n
n
Order Taking & Service
n
n
Accurately take food and beverage orders using POS systems or manually, as required.
n
Deliver meals, snacks, and drinks to tables, lounges, or event areas in a timely fashion.
n




Maintain product knowledge to provide recommendations and upsell where appropriate.
n
Prepare and serve beverages including coffee, cocktails, alcoholic drinks, and non-alcoholic options.
n

Cleanliness & Presentation
n
n
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service counters, and food preparation zones.
n
Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests or rounds of service.
n
Ensure all equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are clean and properly stored.
n
n
Event & Function Support
n
n
Set up, service, and pack down for weddings, corporate functions, and club events from ****** pax.
n
Follow specific service standards (e.g., plated, buffet, cocktail-style events).
n
n
Compliance & Safety
n
n
Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety guidelines.
n
Comply with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) legislation.
n
Report incidents or hazards to supervisors immediately.
n
n
Teamwork & Communication
n
n
Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams.
n
Attend pre-shift briefings and contribute to a positive team culture.
n
Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth service.
n
n
Stock & Inventory
n
n
Assist in restocking fridges, bars, and storerooms.
n
Monitor and report low stock or damaged items.
n
n




Venue Standards & Presentation
n
n
Ensure all areas reflect the quality, service, and image standards of the venue or club.
n
Take pride in personal grooming and uniform presentation.
n
n
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
n
n
Previous experience in a food and beverage role, preferably in a hospitality or a golf resort environment.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
n
Available to work a flexible roster to suit the needs of a 7-day operation.
n
Extensive knowledge of bar, wine and cocktails plus barista skills (SOL Cafe & Bar).
n
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in food and beverage service.
n
