WEmpower, in partnership with Healthii People, is looking for an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join their growing Allied Health team in the Port Macquarie / Coffs Harbour region on a full-time basis.

What you'll be doing:
n
n
Completing Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) and preparing high-quality NDIS reports
n
Conducting Assistive Technology assessments, equipment trials and prescription
n
Completing Home Modification assessments (minor and complex, within scope)
n
Delivering individual OT intervention to children, adolescents and adults
n
Developing individualised therapy plans with measurable, functional goals
n
Supporting sensory, emotional regulation, executive functioning, fine motor, gross motor and daily living skills
n
Facilitating group therapy programs, including school holiday programs
n
Delivering parent, caregiver and support-worker education and training
n
Liaising with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, schools and other allied health professionals
n
Contributing to multidisciplinary case conferences and service development initiatives
n
n
About You:
n
n
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
n
Current AHPRA registration
n
Previous NDIS experience
n
Current Working with Children Check and relevant disability-sector screening
n
Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
n
Strong clinical reasoning and report-writing skills
n
Ability to independently manage a varied caseload
n
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
n
