We run a compact Australian online retail store, selling everyday products to customers in Australia and overseas.
Our whole team works remotely and the group is deliberately small - so the person who joins us is trained properly, supported daily, and treated as a long-term part of the business rather than a number.Right now we are looking for one organised, dependable person to take care of the day-to-day running of the store.
No e-commerce background is needed - full training is provided from day one - but you do need to be comfortable with spreadsheets, valuable at clear written English, and happy to work independently.What the role involvesStore operations: processing orders as they come in, keeping product pages accurate, and updating pricing and delivery settings so nothing surprises a customer at checkout.Reports and inventory: pulling sales figures on schedule, building short weekly summaries, watching costs and margins, and flagging when popular items need to be reordered.Customer care: replying to customer emails and chat messages in friendly, clear English - delivery timeframes, sizing, returns, order updates - plus a quick follow-up after each order to keep our reviews healthy.Hours and payAround 36 hours per week, usually six hours a day across five days.
The timetable can be shaped around your life; what matters is that the work gets done.Weekends stay light: clear the orders, send the one-page summary, and you are done for the day.
$*****-$***** per hour plus Superannuation, paid by direct deposit every fortnight.
