Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week on a rotating shift)

Salary: $70,000- $80,000 per annum + superannuation

Job Responsibility:
The main responsibilities include planning and organising the preparation of menus, overseeing the kitchen staff, and ensuring that the food meets high-quality standards.

Duties:
•Maintain good relationship with customers and suppliers(resolving issues with suppliers if any arises)
•Strictly follow and adhere to the budget of the restaurant orhotel, by ensuring that supplies and/or orders are in line withthe budget and supervising food and labor cost(s)
•Make sure that kitchen safety measures are met and thatsanitation practices are carried out.




•Create new methods and recipes in preparation of meals.
•Keeping up with industry trends and creating recent recipes.
•Maintain work schedule for kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of activities in the kitchen and the restaurant or hotel at large.
•Make sure the meal is prepared and served to customers in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Requirements:
•AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) or have three years of relevant experience as a Chef in Commercial kitchen may substitute for formal qualifications.
•Proven experience in a similar role within a rapid-paced kitchen environment.
•Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
•Ability to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to team success.
