The Opportunity:
n
We have an exciting prospect for an experienced and highly organised allocator to co-ordinate day-to-day transport operations within our dangerous goods division.
n
This is a fast-paced role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving and communication skills to ensure business needs are delivered and the customer needs are always met to a high standard.
n
Operating as the go-to person for fatigue management, delivery processes, customer service and monitoring of the fleet, this role offers variety and strong career development in dangerous goods setting with on-the-job training and support provided.
n




You will:
n
Complete and monitor all documentation in a timely, accurate manner and in accordance with legal requirements and customer expectations
n
Generate all paperwork required for daily deliveries including con notes and delivery dockets
n
Monitor rosters and scheduling to meet compliance with driver fatigue laws
n
Monitor onsite equipment maintenance and service requirements
n
Allocate your resources and operate in the safest, efficient and most cost-effective manner
n
Report any delays to customers due to breakdowns, weather/traffic conditions, emergencies or irregularities to ensure requirements are met
n
Data entry of driver's hours to support BFM accreditation
n
PPE issuing, monitoring and auditing
n
Documentation and investigation of incidents as per K&S; standards
n
Complying with all transport regulations and laws
n
Assisting with vehicle servicing and inspections, documenting all actions and recording on file
n
This role will also involve joining a team roster and working some weekends, so flexibility to be available on these occasions is required.

What you'll bring:
n
You'll have transport allocation experience,



but specific training offered for the right person with the specifics required for this role. You will be a strong, professional communicator when under pressure, and able to remain positive to solve issues and direct drivers when needed.

You will have:
n
Experience in transport & logistics operations
n
Proven customer service delivery and excellent communication & leadership skills
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem solve when issues arise
n
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
n
Knowledge of compliance and legislative requirements regarding NHVR, fatigue management and dangerous goods- highly desirable but not required
n
Exceptional organisational skills, an eye for detail and accuracy and a passion for efficiency
