Freelance Creative Director - Shopper & Integrated

Are you a conceptual, hands-on Creative Director who knows how to turn a strategic brief into an idea that connects - from brand through to shelf?

We're partnering with an established independent creative agency seeking an experienced Freelance Creative Director to support a growing pipeline of integrated projects.

You'll join a collaborative, supportive and dynamic team, working with exciting consumer brands to create high-impact work across FMCG, beverages, health and wellness, retail, travel and lifestyle.

Projects will span shopper marketing, brand activations, social, OOH, in-store displays, point-of-sale and broader integrated campaigns.

Working closely with the strategy and account service team, you'll

Develop strong creative territories and integrated concepts.

Clearly articulate the idea, customer insight and "why".

Present confidently to clients and refine ideas based on feedback.

Extend concepts across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.

Remain hands-on throughout the creative development process.





The ideal candidate will come from a creative agency background, with a strong focus on shopper marketing or brand activation within the FMCG category. Experience working with alcohol or beverage brands will be highly regarded.

You'll be a natural storyteller who can balance big-picture creative thinking with the practical detail needed to bring an idea to life.

The opportunity is flexible depending on project requirements - from an intensive three-day creative sprint through to a longer contract period. Some face-to-face collaboration in Sydney will be important, alongside the flexibility to work remotely with the broader team.
