Programmed Property Services is seeking an experienced and reliable Painter to join our established commercial painting team in Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled painter who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, works well within a team and is committed to maintaining a safe workplace.

About the Role

You will work across a variety of commercial painting and maintenance projects throughout Brisbane. Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling and patching
- Applying paint and protective coatings using brushes, rollers and spray equipment
- Completing internal and external painting works
- Working safely from ladders, scaffolds and elevated work platforms
- Protecting surrounding surfaces and maintaining a clean work area
- Following project specifications, SWMS and company safety procedures
- Working collaboratively with supervisors, painters and other trades
- Delivering a professional standard of workmanship and customer service

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- A trade qualification in Painting and Decorating
- Previous commercial and/or residential painting experience
- Strong preparation and finishing skills
- A Construction White Card
- A current driver's license and reliable transport
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- The ability to work independently and follow instructions
- A reliable, punctual and professional approach
