About the Role

Location: Pasadena

Pay Rate: $35.50-$37.00 per hour

Employment Type: Casual (Full-Time hours with potential to transition to permanent)
Reporting directly to the Leading Hand Cemetery Operations, you will receive daily task allocations to maintain cemetery grounds and deliver high-quality burial and cremation services. This role combines heavy machinery operation, hands-on general labouring, and compassionate public interaction within a sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Excavate, dress, and backfill ground. Set up gazebos and prepare sites for services

Operate excavators, front-end loaders, MR trucks, and perform routine maintenance on all burial equipment.

Complete general gardening duties including mowing, brush cutting, blowing, fertilizing, and operating pole saws.





Engage respectfully and professionally with members of the public.

Required Licenses & Tickets

Medium Rigid (MR) Truck License

Excavator License - LE

Front End Loader License - LL (Highly Beneficial)

Forklift License - LF (Highly Beneficial) * Police Check

What We Are Looking For

Physical capability to undertake manual handling and outdoor labouring tasks.

Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.
