About Our Client
Our client is a highly regarded maintenance and engineering services provider supporting mining operations across Queensland. With a strong reputation for safety, reliability and quality workmanship, they deliver specialist maintenance solutions across coal handling and preparation plants, fixed plant assets and processing facilities.
What You Will Be Doing
- Performing maintenance, repair and fabrication work on fixed plant equipment
- Conducting structural repairs and modifications to plant infrastructure
- Carrying out planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance activities
- Maintaining chutes, bins, screens, conveyors and associated plant equipment
- Interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication plans
- Completing shutdown and project maintenance works
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to industry standards
- Maintaining maintenance records and inspection documentation
What You Will Need
- Australian Recognised Boilermaker Trade Qualification
- Current Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Previous fixed plant, CHPP or heavy industrial maintenance experience
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong welding and fabrication skills
- Current Driver's Licence
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Highly Regarded
- Previous CHPP maintenance experience
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets
- High Risk Work Licences
- Shutdown maintenance experience
- Experience working within coal mining operations
