ConsultANZ is looking for a Civil Estimator in Brisbane to join a reputable civil contractor's pre-construction team and contribute to the pricing and tendering of a range of civil projects. You will be responsible for developing accurate project pricing, coordinating tender inputs and helping the business identify and secure new opportunities.

What you'll be doing:

- Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for civil construction projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, scopes and project requirements
- Complete quantity take-offs and develop project rates
- Source and review pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
- Identify commercial risks, exclusions and opportunities within tenders
- Work closely with the construction team to ensure estimates are practical and deliverable
- Assist with tender presentations, negotiations and client queries
- Support the smooth handover of successful tenders to the project delivery team

What we're looking for:

- Civil construction estimating experience, ideally across general civil works or land development projects.




- Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a similar field
- Solid understanding of earthworks, roads, pavements, drainage and underground services
- Strong skills in quantity take-offs, cost planning and tender preparation
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Commercially minded with solid attention to detail
- Confident communicator who can build relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
