Westgold is seeking an experienced Warehouse Officer to join our Northern Operations team on a permanent 8/6 FIFO roster. This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in supporting our mining operations through effective inventory management, warehousing, purchasing and logistics activities.

Working closely with maintenance and operational teams, you will ensure critical parts, consumables and equipment are available when required, while maintaining accurate inventory records and upholding strong safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily pre-start inspections within the warehouse and stores area
- Manage inventory replenishment and stock ordering activities
- Process rotable and repairable components to ensure timely return to inventory
- Issue parts, consumables and backorders efficiently and accurately
- Complete cyclical stocktakes and inventory counts
- Perform bulk commodity measurements and stock reconciliations
- Raise purchase orders and monitor supplier deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory, receipting and issue records
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry within site systems
- Support effective communication regarding supply chain and inventory issues
- Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance coordination for material handling equipment
- Maintain warehouse documentation and records in accordance with company and legislative requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current WA Manual C-Class Driver's Licence
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores role within the mining industry
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)




- Experience using ERP systems such as Pronto
- Strong computer skills across the Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of warehouse, inventory and materials management processes
- Understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive, self-motivated and team-oriented approach
- The ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced mining environment

Desirable

- Dangerous Goods Storage, Handling and Transportation certification
- Integrated Tool Carrier (IT) ticket or experience
- Warehousing or Supply Chain qualification
- Understanding of Load Restraint and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Knowledge of mining consumables and inventory management systems
