The Role
This is a excellent opportunity to play a central role in keeping our South Australian bulk-cement supply chain moving. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing team, you'll manage day-to-day coordination of bulk-product orders and support our 24/7 loading operation through the weighbridge system — working at the intersection of sales, logistics and customer service.
You'll be the go-to person ensuring customer orders and transactions are processed accurately and on time, keeping communication flowing between customers, transport providers and our Birkenhead and Angaston sites. You'll also get exposure to our packaged-products customer service function, broadening your commercial experience across Adbri's SA business.
This 12-month fixed-term role covers maternity leave, offers a competitive salary package, standard Monday–Friday hours, and genuine variety across logistics, customer service and site operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bulk-product orders to support accurate, timely customer deliveries.
- Coordinate bulk loading activity through the weighbridge system.
- Reconcile daily weighbridge transactions to SAP and ensure all transactions are processed correctly.
- Monitor bulk-product allocations for Birkenhead and Angaston, communicating supply concerns with the sales team.
- Maintain accurate weighbridge data in accordance with sales, accounts and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Liaise with transport companies to ensure driver inductions and vehicle information are current.
- Assist with follow-up and resolution of transport-related incidents.
- Process packaged-product orders and provide coverage for the packaged-products customer service role as required.
- Deliver professional, responsive service to customers, logistics partners and internal stakeholders.

- Excellent communication, organisation and customer service skills
- A friendly, professional, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work autonomously and stay effective under pressure
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
Highly regarded:
- Experience in construction materials, transport, logistics, manufacturing or a related industry
- Knowledge of truck configurations, load mass, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Experience using SAP and/or weighbridge systems
