Job Title: Food and Beverage Attendants - Gather PM

Position Overview:

The Food & Beverage Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive top-notch service and have a memorable experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere whether it is at the bar, or in the restaurant.

Gather a relaxed steakhouse experience for dinner built around the best of Australian produce located within Rydges Resort Hunter Valley. Gather has it's own private dining room for dinner. It's a private slice of Gather - no interruptions, just valuable food, good wine, and your favourite people.

You'll be the face of Gather Restaurant, providing friendly and professional service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Working as part of our evening team, you'll support the smooth operation of dinner service and contribute to a positive dining experience.

Skills and Experience:

These are the desired skills and experience for this role:

- Deliver exceptional customer service to restaurant guests.
- Previous experience in a restaurant environment.
- Previous experience with table waiting / section waiting is preferred.
- Has a friendly, positive, and professional approach.
- Enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
- A genuine passion for local food and wine.
- Foundational wine knowledge.
- Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
- Impeccable presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.




- A strong commitment to delivering refined, attentive service with poise and professionalism.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve meals and beverages in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming dining environment.
- Assist with restaurant setup, service, and pack-down.
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues with a positive attitude.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
- Follow food safety, responsible service of alcohol, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- RSA certification and the right to work in Australia.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
- Is available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
