About the role
The Mental Health Emergency Care team is seeking a Mental Health Clinician with at least three years post-qualification experience to join a dedicated acute mental health service where skills, experience and professional development are highly valued.

This diverse and rewarding role involves providing mental health triage, assessment and crisis intervention, while working closely with consumers, carers and a broad network of health professionals across Western NSW. No two shifts are the same, with opportunities to work across the 1800 Mental Health line, undertake acute mental health assessments and collaborate with services across 44 health facilities.

The successful applicant will join a supportive multidisciplinary team and benefit from a comprehensive induction program, ongoing clinical supervision and access to extensive professional development opportunities. With flexible rostering that provides three or four days off each week, this role offers an excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to build specialist skills in emergency mental health care.
