The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert clinical practice registered nurse who provides specialised clinical support and nursing leadership within the Lung Health Service.

This position provides expert contemporary respiratory knowledge and skill utilising contemporary evidence based clinical practice to guide high quality, safe clinical services across West Moreton Health.

Temporary Part Time Opportunity for up to 12 months – 15.2 hours per fortnight!

What we're looking for

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

- Demonstrates expert level of contemporary clinical respiratory nursing knowledge,



skill and practice and demonstrated ability to lead a similar service enabling the delivery and support of high quality care provision for Lung Health.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships, open communication and a positive environment within multidisciplinary teams, actively contributing to the learning and development of others regarding contemporary Respiratory care.
- Enthusiastically provides leadership for clinical services through effective role modelling of supportive integration of Lung Health and encouraging and providing expert clinical nursing advice across the broader WMH teams.
- Manages challenges constructively and positively.
- Demonstrated data analysis skills including abilities to undertake outcome evaluation and translate this to service improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective nursing health professional with capability for high level engagement across the spectrum of stakeholders including patients and families.
- Demonstrated management knowledge and skills specifically human resource management.

Mandatory Requirements

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
