This is a large regional city with a local population of over 60,000 and a regional population of over 140,000. The local area has a well developed infrastructure and everything you would need and expect from a well developed regional city including great private schools, shopping, restaurants and the beautiful natural tropical surrounds.

The Facility

- A 236-bed regional hospital that services 10 rural hospitals and multi-purpose health facilities across the region.

Embarking on a $250m redevelopment to provide an additional 112 inpatient beds and expansion of their outpatient services.



This facility provides a challenging and rewarding clinical case mix that includes busy inpatient and outpatient general medicine, paediatrics, surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics & gynaecology and mental health services. These core inpatient services are well integrated with active emergency medicine, anaesthetic and intensive care departments and supported by a wide range of allied health services.

The Requirements
To apply you must

- Hold General or Specialist registration with AHPRA
- Hold Fellowship or be eligible for Fellowship with ACEM within the next 6 months
- UK CCT holders are encouraged to apply
- SIMG's with Substantially comparable outcome or interview date encouraged to apply
- Candidates onshore awaiting to sit their OSCE are encouraged to apply
