About Our Client

Rio Tinto is a global leader in mining and resources, delivering large-scale projects across Australia and internationally. The Haul Road Project is a significant civil works project supporting critical mining infrastructure in Far North Queensland.

What You Will Be Doing

- Operating scrapers on large-scale haul road construction projects
- Conducting bulk earthworks and road construction activities
- Maintaining haul road surfaces and project work areas
- Completing pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
- Working safely in accordance with site procedures and project requirements
- Supporting project milestones through efficient equipment operation

What You Will Need

- Proven experience operating scrapers in a civil, construction, or mining environment
- Experience completing bulk earthworks and road construction activities
- Robust commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Current Driver's Licence and full Australian working rights
