Hays is partnering with a well-established, highly regulated manufacturing business to appoint a Senior Quality Assurance Manager into a critical site leadership role. This is an opportunity for an experienced Quality leader to take ownership of a broad Quality function across complementary medicines and food manufacturing operations, with strong visibility across senior leadership.

Your new role

Reporting to the CEO, you will act as the senior Quality authority for the site, providing leadership, governance and independent Quality oversight across TGA/PIC/S GMP, food safety, customer quality requirements and continuous improvement.

You will lead a capable Quality team and ensure the site maintains effective systems across QMS, regulatory compliance, audits, investigations, CAPA, change control, validation, supplier quality, complaints and product disposition.

This position will suit someone who is comfortable operating as the key Quality decision-maker on site, balancing operational priorities with the need to maintain strong regulatory, GMP and food-safety standards.

What you'll need to succeed

- Significant Quality leadership experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.

- Strong working knowledge of GMP, Quality Management Systems and regulatory audit readiness.

- Experience managing deviations, investigations, CAPA, change control,



complaints, supplier quality and Quality risk.

- Exposure to TGA/PIC/S GMP environments, ideally within pharmaceutical, complementary medicines or similarly regulated manufacturing.

- Food manufacturing, HACCP or food-safety systems experience will be highly regarded.

- A relevant tertiary qualification in science, pharmacy, chemistry, pharmaceutical science, food science, Quality or a related discipline.

- Solid people leadership capability, with the ability to build team capability, influence senior stakeholders and make clear Quality decisions.
