National Debt Collections Officer

An established national property services organisation is seeking an experienced National Debt Collections Officer to take ownership of debt recovery across a large national portfolio.
Reporting to the Director of Commercial Finance, you’ll work with senior leaders, finance teams and clients to reduce aged debt, resolve account issues and improve collection processes.
The role Key responsibilities include:

- Managing overdue accounts and recovering outstanding debts
- Resolving invoice queries and debt disputes
- Negotiating and monitoring payment arrangements
- Escalating matters for legal recovery where required
- Preparing aged debtor and collection reports
- Developing strategies to improve collection efficiency




- Improving debtor processes and reducing financial risk
- Working with internal teams to resolve account issues

About you You’ll ideally have:

- Experience in collections, credit control, accounts receivable or debt management
- Confidence managing sensitive conversations and negotiating payment arrangements
- Robust analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach

Experience with hardship cases or formal legal recovery processes would be highly regarded.
