An established Western Australian contractor operating across the mining, resources, construction and industrial services sectors is seeking an organised and proactive Mobilisation & Recruitment Coordinator to join its Karratha-based team.
This is a school-hours position, Monday to Friday, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced mobilisation, recruitment or workforce administration skilled seeking genuine work-life balance while remaining in a busy and rewarding role.
The position is locally based in Karratha and provides the opportunity to support a diverse workforce across projects and operations throughout Western Australia.
About the Role
Working closely with the Operations and HR teams, you will coordinate the recruitment, onboarding and mobilisation of personnel to various client sites and projects.
This is a hands-on coordination role requiring excellent organisation, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple employees and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the mobilisation and demobilisation of employees to client sites.
- Managing site access requirements, inductions, training, VOCs, medicals and mobilisation documentation.
- Ensuring employees meet client and project compliance requirements prior to mobilisation.
- Maintaining mobilisation trackers, employee records and compliance documentation.
- Liaising with employees, supervisors, Operations and client mobilisation teams.
- Assisting with recruitment across trade, construction, mining and shutdown roles.
- Advertising vacancies and reviewing incoming applications.
- Conducting initial candidate screening and reference checks.
- Coordinating pre-employment medicals, police clearances and onboarding requirements.
- Preparing employment and onboarding documentation.
- Assisting with travel,
accommodation and roster coordination where required.
- Maintaining accurate information within HR, recruitment and mobilisation systems.
- Supporting workforce planning and upcoming project mobilisation requirements.
- Providing general recruitment, HR and administrative support to the wider team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, approachable and comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous mobilisation, recruitment or workforce coordination experience within the mining, construction, shutdown or industrial services sectors.
- Knowledge of mobilisation and site access requirements for major WA mining and resources operations.
- Strong administration and document control skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to coordinate multiple employees and mobilisation requirements simultaneously.
- The ability to work autonomously and effectively manage your own priorities.
Essential Requirements
- Previous mobilisation, recruitment or workforce administration experience.
- Current unrestricted WA Driver's Licence.
- Australian working rights.
- Based in Karratha or the surrounding area.
