Our focus is on supporting older people to experience a sense of wellbeing, choice and independence in their lives, to feel valued members of their community and to have easy access to the community or residential services they need to live the life they want. With a range of services in many locations in Victoria and Tasmania, our 5000 staff and 600 volunteer staff are committed to high quality services and care.

What is a Talent Pool?

An chance for Extended Care Assistants to flag their interest in joining Uniting AgeWell and to let us know their:

- preferences for particular sites
- preferences for particular shift lines
- availability to work.

How does a Talent Pool work?

- You express your interest by completing an online application
- There are more questions than an usual application because we want to understand exactly what you're looking for and your availability
- We use all your information to pre-screen your application and 'match' you to possible opportunities as they arise
- We will flag to you any available opportunities that match what you're looking for faster than standard advertising

What are we looking for?

- Hold a current Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (Ageing)
- A current Working With Vulnerable People card
- Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
- Are known for your caring and compassionate nature




- Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
- Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
