The Opportunity

We're looking for reliable Production Operators to join our manufacturing team and help build quality products in a safe, supportive environment. Whether you're an experienced production worker, warehouse operator, labourer or trades assistant, we provide the training and opportunities to help you build a long-term career.

Shift Options Available

- Day Shift (Monday to Friday)
- Morning or Afternoon Shift (Monday to Thursday)

Currently studying? We'd love to hear from you. We're open to discussing flexible working arrangements for candidates undertaking university, TAFE or other formal study. Where operationally possible, shifts can be tailored to fit around study schedules and timetables.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Production Operator, you'll be part of a close-knit team responsible for manufacturing and assembling wastewater treatment systems.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

- Manufacturing and assembling products to specification
- Operating production equipment safely and efficiently
- Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet our standards
- Following production instructions and work procedures
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
- Working with your team to achieve daily production targets




- Following workplace safety procedures and wearing PPE at all times

Essential

- Reliable, punctual and committed to producing quality work
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Team-oriented with a willingness to support others when needed
- Right to work in Australia

Desirable but not essential

- Experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing or a trade environment
- Forklift licence
- White Card / Construction Induction Card

Training & development

Don't have the above experience? That’s okay. We value attitude, reliability and willingness to learn. We also build skills from within:

- Structured onboarding – buddy system, site inductions and guided hands-on training before you're on the floor solo
- On-the-job skills development – learn from experienced tradespeople and production leads
- Funded licences & certifications – forklift, EWP, white card and other relevant tickets
- Pathways to senior roles – production leads, supervisors, quality roles. We promote from within wherever possible

Safety Matters

At Taylex, safety comes first. Successful applicants will be required to:

- Complete a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol screening
- Comply with our zero-tolerance Drug & Alcohol policy
- Follow all WHS, Quality and Environmental requirements
- Wear PPE and work safely at all times
