Join a leading financial services organisation in a broad and influential Tax Manager role. Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of the end to end tax function, overseeing compliance, reporting, governance, advisory and process improvement activities across a complex banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all direct and indirect tax compliance obligations including Corporate Income Tax, GST, BAS, PAYG, Withholding Tax, FBT, FATCA/CRS, AIIR and Country by Country Reporting.

- Manage tax provisioning, deferred tax calculations and tax accounting requirements.

- Prepare and review local and Head Office tax reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

- Provide tax advice on current products, transactions, strategic initiatives and regulatory developments.

- Oversee transfer pricing documentation, tax governance frameworks and tax risk management activities.

- Manage interactions with external advisors,



auditors, regulatory bodies and tax authorities.

- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and enhancements to tax controls and reporting frameworks.

About You

- CA or CPA qualified.

- 15+ years of experience across tax, audit or a combination of both.

- Strong technical expertise in Australian tax legislation, tax accounting and compliance.

- Banking or broader financial services experience is highly regarded.

- Sound understanding of accounting standards and the tax treatment of financial products.

- Strong analytical, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.

- Advanced Excel capabilities and experience working with large, complex datasets..
