Are you passionate about transforming complex investment and market data into meaningful insights that support investment decisions, portfolio construction, and client outcomes?

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Investment Data Analyst to join our Investment Team based in Sydney. Working closely with Koda’s Chief Economist you will play a key role in managing, analysing, and interpreting investment data across a broad range of asset classes.

- Advanced quantitative and problem-solving capabilities.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.

- The ability to communicate complex findings in a transparent and practical manner.

- Experience working with large datasets and financial market information.

- A collaborative approach and desire to contribute in a high-performing team environment.

- A genuine interest in investment research, portfolio analytics, and market trends.

Experiences & Qualifications…

- Tertiary qualification in Economics, Finance, Commerce, or a closely related quantitative discipline

- Two or more years’ experience in investment data analyst, quantitative analysis, or a similar role within financial services.

- Advanced Bloomberg and Excel skills, including Bloomberg API and complex financial modelling.

- Proficiency in at least one programming or statistical language commonly used in quantitative finance (Python, R, MATLAB, or VBA).

- Exposure to macroeconomic, market, and cross-asset analysis, with a clear appetite to develop deeper capability.
