We’re seeking a reliable, safety‑conscious First‑Class Machinist to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to work on a variety of conventional and machine centre equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate conventional lathes and machine centres to manufacture components to engineering drawings

- Read, interpret and manufacture to engineering drawings in both Metric and Imperial units

- Complete work orders and accurately log time against tasks

- Troubleshoot machining and setup issues; apply strong problem solving and mechanical aptitude

- Liaise with team leaders to order and manage tooling requirements

- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area and follow all safety procedures

- Be available for overtime as required

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements

- Trade Certificate: First Class Machining (required)

- Demonstrated experience using conventional lathes and machine centres

- Ability to read and manufacture to engineering drawings (Metric & Imperial)

- Full working rights in Australia





- Current driver's licence

- Reliable, safety focused and committed to high quality workmanship

Experience & Licences

- How many years’ experience? Please state your total years of machining experience in your application. (Preferred: minimum 3 years post trade experience — indicate your exact years)

- Forklift licence: desirable (please advise if you hold one)
