Sunrise Kids Early Learning Centre in Jensen is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Casual Early Childhood Educators to join our team.

We are seeking educators who are passionate about early childhood education and care, enjoy building meaningful relationships with children and families, and are committed to creating safe, nurturing and engaging learning environments.

At Sunrise Kids, child protection and child safety outcomes are at the forefront of everything we do. We are looking for educators who understand their responsibility to protect children, promote their wellbeing and ensure every child feels safe, respected, heard and supported.

About the role

As a Casual Educator, you will work collaboratively with our team to support the daily delivery of high-quality education and care.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing

- Creating warm, inclusive and engaging learning environments

- Building positive and respectful relationships with children and families

- Following service policies, procedures and child safe practices

- Maintaining active supervision and supporting children’s health and safety

- Contributing to educational programs and experiences

- Working collaboratively with educators and service leadership

- Promoting children’s rights, voice and agency

- Maintaining professional and respectful communication with families and colleagues

About you

We are looking for educators who:

- Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care





- Have a genuine passion for working with children

- Are reliable, flexible and professional

- Understand the importance of child protection and safeguarding

- Place child safety and wellbeing at the centre of their practice

- Enjoy working as part of a supportive and collaborative team

- Can build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

- Are willing to learn, reflect and continue developing professionally

Essential requirements

Applicants must hold:

- A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent

- A current and valid Queensland Blue Card / Working with Children Check

- Current recognised Child Protection training

- Up-to-date Foundation Child Safety Training through the GECKO platform

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain these prior to commencement
